What does Life Teen have to do with Confirmation?
Seaside Life Teen is Hingham’s very own youth ministry program that also serves as a requirement fulfillment for Confirmation students (9th and 10th graders) in our collaborative. Along with other requirements listed in the syllabus, students are required to complete 12 Life Nights for every year they are in the Confirmation Program.

Confession:
The Sacrament of Confession is one of the most beautiful sacraments the Church has to offer. As Catholics, the Church requires that we go to Confession at least once a year but many go once or twice a month. To help get you started, here is an Examination of Conscience

High school students attend our Life Teen Mass on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Resurrection. As Catholics, Mass is the most important piece of our faith, and ultimately weekly Mass is the best way to prepare our teens for Confirmation. The goal of having our students at the 5:30 p.m. Mass is to create a positive, inviting church atmosphere for our teens. Following Mass, we host Life Nights which take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Resurrection Church.
To build a vibrant faith community for our teens we ask that students seeking Confirmation attend weekly mass, Life Nights, Holy Hours, a yearly retreat, and service events. Life Nights are the primary time each week where social activities, current issues, or catechesis will be given in an engaging and relevant way. They are also times of fellowship, catechesis and community. Beyond Life Nights, this dynamic program will also be participating in outings, mission trips and much more! All of our events are open to everyone in grades 9-12!
