Bereavement Group

New Day

Our pastoral staff understands the importance of the support that is extended after the Funeral Rite and we believe that faith and prayer are foundational for the grieving process. The reality of a loved one’s death can lead us to an awareness of our need for God and others. Although each of us responds uniquely to grief, we can draw strength from those who are walking a similar journey. Participation in a Bereavement Support Group provides an opportunity for grieving in an emotionally and spiritually nurturing environment.

Our “NEW DAY” program will be held on ten alternating Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30PM beginning on September 26th 2017.  The group will be facilitated by Jack Rayburn and our bereavement ministry team. We hope to provide an opportunity for you to move with others who have experienced a similar loss on the journey from grief to healing.

If you are interested in learning more about  this group or have questions about the “New Day” program, please contact Elizabeth Reardon, (781-749-0587 OR ereardon@stpaulhingham.org). Feel free to share this invitation with others who may benefit from such a group.

We look forward to welcoming you at the program.

“Come to me, all you that are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29
